A Space for Dreaming
SECOND FRIDAYS - 5:30 to 7:30pm PT / 8:30 to 10:30pm ET
Dreaming in public and in community is a powerful act. It is a pathway to thinking deeply and creatively about what a new world might look like, what we might look like doing the work of creating anti-oppressive selves, institutions & ways of being. Dreaming allows us to slow down space & time and create deep, lasting connections between & amongst ourselves. Bearing witness to our individual & collective being & dreams is a pathway towards liberation.
A Time for Studying
LAST SUNDAYS - 10:30am to 12:30pm PT / 1:30 to 3:30pm ET
Queering Dreams' A Time for Study are monthly gathering for artists, organizers, educators, and comrades seeking space & time to discuss & engage with text, audio, and video about topics like abolition, Land Back, disability justice, collective liberation, Black feminism, and more. No prep is required to participate as we will begin each session reading / listening / watching together the selected text / audio / video.
Rupy C. Tut, Jason Wyman, Kiana Honarmand, Han Qin, and Momos Cheeskos are thrilled to launch the new Virtual Artist Salons by & for Immigrant Artists & their comrades. This carefully crafted professional, creative, and personal development program is a unique opportunity for any Immigrant Artist of any discipline, age, or experience level and anywhere in the world, who desires a supportive community of fellow artists to deepen their understanding & expression of their art, craft, and story so that you are in control of your narrative.
The Virtual Artist Salons are 8 Sessions (every other Thursday from March 24 to June 30, 2022) that convene Immigrant Artists and artists who are their comrades across borders to cultivate connection & camaraderie through giving & receiving feedback about our art, stories, needs, and offerings.
